Bay State Driving School has 3 locations: Watertown, Burlington, and Natick. The owner, Ms. Figueroa has been a resident of Watertown since the year 2000. She holds two master’s degrees; the first in Psychotherapy and the second one in Education. She has been employed by Boston Public School since 1996 working with high school students. She is a Board Member of the Professional Drivers Education Association for Massachusets.
Seeing the need to provide quality and well-thought driver’s education instructor, Ms. Figueroa decided to open Bay State Driving School. Having the background knowledge to deal effectively with teens, she developed a unique way to teach the 15 modules required by the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Students with various learning styles and those with an I.E.P. have successfully completed their JOL requirements. Not only does Bay State focus on delivering the best instruction possible so that they become safer, conscientious, and defensive drivers, but we also manage to help students develop life skills that will help them deal with every day stressors, decision making, and problem solving.
 Bay State Driving School regularly receives letters from parents, students, school administrators and teachers expressing how impressed they are with our program. The office staff is not only knowledgeable, but they also perform above and beyond to accommodate our students. They are known to be readily available to resolve any given situation in a timely manner. This school is known to have on-going availability to schedule Behind-the-Wheel instruction. Students do not have to wait in line to get into a class session and they do not have to wait long periods to fulfill their driving hours.
Our instructors are well-trained, state-certified, and all must undergo annual CORI background checks. The RMV renews their driver’s educator license only if they check O.K. and continue having an impeccable driving record.
Bay State Driving School serves the following areas: Brighton, Cambridge, Watertown, Newton, Waltham, Weston, Belmont, Arlington, Burlington, Billerica, Wilmington, Bedford, Lowell, Winchester, Chelmsford, Lexington, Natick, Woburn and vicinity areas.
We hold classroom instruction at various private and public high schools and Saturday classes. We provide behind-the-wheel instruction seven days a week with free pick-up and drop-off service at home and/or place of employment.
